Job description

  • We are seeking a highly skilled Consultant to lead the design, implementation, and support of enterprise-scale software-defined networking environments.

  • This role focuses on Cisco Software-Defined Access (SDA), DNA Center (DNAC), and Identity Services Engine (Client), while also supporting broader enterprise network security and infrastructure operations.

  • The ideal candidate will be a hands-on technical expert who thrives in high-availability environments and can lead complex troubleshooting efforts, especially during critical incidents.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead implementation, administration, and optimization of Cisco Software-Defined Access (SDA) environments, including fabric onboarding, policy configuration, and integration with Cisco DNA Center and Client.

  • Provide Level-3 support for complex network incidents across LAN, WAN, data center, wireless, and security domains in live production environments.

  • Drive root-cause analysis and real-time troubleshooting during high-impact outages, ensuring minimal downtime and fast service restoration.

  • Configure and support Cisco ACI fabrics including APIC, EPGs, contracts, and fabric health monitoring.

  • Administer and troubleshoot Palo Alto firewalls, including security policies, NAT, Panorama management, and IPSec VPN configurations.

  • Design and support enterprise wireless networks, including RF optimization, seamless roaming, and high-density deployments.

  • Manage Infoblox DDI platforms (DNS, DHCP, IPAM), including grid operations, high availability, and automation integration.

  • Perform packet captures and deep traffic analysis using tools such as Wireshark to isolate and resolve network issues.

  • Plan and execute network upgrades, lifecycle management, and firmware updates across enterprise infrastructure.

  • Mentor L1/L2 support teams, enhance operational runbooks, and improve incident response efficiency to reduce MTTR.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and vendors to ensure secure, scalable, and resilient network operations.

Requirements

  • Cisco SDA: DNA Center, Client integration, fabric edge/control nodes, policy troubleshooting.

  • Cisco DNAC: Deployment, automation, assurance, and monitoring.

  • Cisco Client: Policy management, authentication, network access control, integration with SDA.

  • Cisco ACI: APIC, EPGs, contracts, L2/L3 connectivity, fabric troubleshooting.

  • Palo Alto Firewalls: PAN-OS, Panorama, security policies, NAT, IPSec VPN, threat prevention.

  • Enterprise Wireless: WLAN design, RF analysis, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.

  • VPN Technologies: Site-to-site and remote access IPSec VPNs, multi-vendor interoperability.

  • Infoblox DDI: DNS, DHCP, IPAM, Grid Master, HA, automation.

  • Networking Fundamentals: TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, QoS, multicast.

  • Packet Analysis: Real-time traffic analysis using Wireshark.

Skills:

  • Cisco SDA

  • Cisco DNA

Education:

  • Bachelor’s or degree in or a related field or equivalent work experience.
