Job description

We’re looking for backend engineers to build the infrastructure and systems that power our AI agents. You’ll work across the stack, from data pipelines and analytics to real-time agent systems, shipping features that directly impact how our customers operate.

This isn’t a role where you’ll be handed a spec and asked to execute. You’ll own problems end-to-end: figuring out the right approach, building it, and iterating based on what you learn., * Analytics rewrite: Migrating our analytics service to ClickHouse and rebuilding it to scale through our next 10x of growth

  • Hallucination detection: Improving our detection systems with the goal of driving hallucination rates toward zero
  • Browser use agent: Scaling, stabilizing, and adding features and accuracy to our browser use agent in lieu of formal customer APIs, * Backend: Python (Django/FastAPI), TypeScript (Node.js)
  • Infrastructure: AWS, Modal, Kubernetes, Postgres
  • Frontend: TypeScript, Next.js (you’ll interact with this, but it’s not the focus)

Requirements

  • Have 4+ years building backend systems, ideally at companies where reliability and scale mattered
  • Are comfortable with ambiguity: you can take a loosely-defined problem and figure out what to build
  • You’ll jump into unfamiliar parts of the codebase when that’s what the problem requires
  • Write clean code and care about getting the details right, but also know when to ship
  • Want to work on hard problems with a small team where your work has obvious impact
  • Are excited about AI agents and the infrastructure challenges that come with running them in production

Benefits & conditions

  • Competitive base + bonus + equity
  • Catered lunch daily
  • Dinner stipend
  • $500/month wellness & commuter benefit (gym, fitness classes, mental health)
  • 401(k) plan
  • Medical, dental, and vision coverage
