Job description

We are looking for an experienced IT Project Manager to lead several projects in parallel from initiation to delivery within the Belgian energy market context.

  • Drafting project briefs and project definition documents
  • Planning, steering and coordinating projects from A to Z
  • Managing dependencies within a project and across related projects
  • Coordinating project teams and allocating IT resources effectively
  • Identifying, monitoring and mitigating risks and issues
  • Handling project communication and management reporting
  • Following up and updating the business case, including scope and budget management, with alignment of sponsors and stakeholders
  • Safeguarding the quality of deliverables and compliance with internal processes
  • Assessing and managing change requests
  • Acting as the primary point of contact for the project sponsor
  • Facilitating collaboration between internal and external stakeholders
  • Building stakeholder buy-in and participating in touchpoint meetings
  • Supporting the coordination, implementation and rollout of a digital prepayment solution interacting with smart meters in Belgium
  • Overseeing and further optimizing existing project operations and ways of working

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in leading and guiding projects as an IT Project Manager
  • Good command of project management terminology, structures, roles and processes, for example Prince2 and PMBOK
  • At least 3 years of experience working in a hybrid Waterfall and Agile environment
  • Experience facilitating workshops with multiple stakeholders
  • Strong skills in analysing and defining detailed requirements
  • Experience coordinating project teams
  • Familiarity with DevOps environments
  • Knowledge of the Belgian energy market
  • Experience in the customer-related process domain settlement
  • Experience in at least one of the following domains: measure or billing
  • Knowledge of MIG 6 and/or MIG DGO processes
  • Experience in a coordination role within a project in the MIG6 or MIG DGO context
  • Hands-on knowledge of tools such as HP ALM, ServiceNow and Topdesk
  • You hold at least one of the following certifications: Prince2 Agile, Prince2 Foundation or Prince2 Practitioner
  • You have a recognized coaching certification
  • You communicate fluently in English at minimum C1 level, as this is the project language
  • You have minimum C1 level in French or Dutch, and at least B1 level in the other national language
