As Teamlead Cloud, you will guide our engineers, drive technical excellence, and foster a culture of learning and continuous improvement.

As AWS Cloud Team Lead, you combine hands-on technical expertise with a clear leadership role. You ensure our cloud infrastructure stays secure, reliable, and high-performing, while also supporting and developing your team so they can grow and perform at their best. Together with cross-functional teams, you work on designing, building, and continuously improving cloud solutions that move the business forward.

The Cloud team is mainly based at our Enschede headquarters, with colleagues in our Amersfoort office and the Aveiro (Portugal) hub. No week is the same: one week you might spend around 70% of your time on leadership and coaching and 30% hands-on work, while the next week that balance can easily shift the other way around., * Lead and mentor a team of cloud engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing culture;

• Define and execute the vision, roadmap, and objectives for the Cloud team;
• Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of scalable and secure cloud solutions;
• Ensure alignment between team priorities and company objectives;
• Drive efficiency, automation, and innovation, optimizing cloud infrastructure and operations;
• Promote learning & development, ensuring team members grow professionally;
• Increase operational autonomy by sharing knowledge and empowering other teams to manage infrastructure-related tasks effectively.

• At least 5 years of hands-on experience in cloud engineering or related fields, with a strong track record of designing and managing cloud-based infrastructure;
• Experience leading or mentoring teams in a technical environment;
• Strong proficiency in AWS Cloud containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes (EKS);
• Solid understanding of networking principles and security best practices;
• Experience with infrastructure as code (OpenTofu, ArgoCD, Gitlab CI/CD) tools;
• Familiarity with programming in Python., We can only consider applications from Dutch, EU/EEA or Swiss citizens, or from individuals who already hold a valid residence and work permit for the Netherlands.
