Job description

Lansky Center Solutions INC is seeking a reliable and skilled Part-Time Network Technician to support our clients with on-site and remote network services. This role is ideal for a hands-on technician with strong troubleshooting skills who is flexible, dependable, and willing to travel to customer locations as needed., * Perform network troubleshooting and diagnostics for wired and wireless environments

  • Install, configure, and support network switches, routers, access points, and firewalls
  • Handle structured cabling tasks, including patching, labeling, testing, and basic rack work
  • Provide on-site technical support for network outages, upgrades, and cutovers
  • Assist with equipment replacements, configurations, and documentation
  • Respond to on-call service requests and meet service-level expectations
  • Communicate clearly with clients and internal teams regarding issues and resolutions, * Laptop (Windows)
  • USB flash drives (bootable: Windows, Linux)
  • External SSD / HDD
  • Ethernet cables (Cat5e/Cat6)
  • USB-to-Ethernet adapter
  • Power strip & extension cord

  • It is required to have a vehicle for this Position.

Requirements

Do you have a valid Driver’s License license?, Do you have experience in Wireless networking?, * Strong knowledge of network troubleshooting, switching, and cabling

  • Basic to intermediate understanding of TCP/IP, VLANs, DHCP, and Wi-Fi networks
  • Hands-on experience with network hardware installation and support
  • Ability to work independently and follow technical instructions
  • Willingness to travel to client sites
  • Must have a reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license
  • Availability for on-call work, including evenings or weekends when required

Preferred Qualifications (Asset)

  • Previous experience as a Network Technician or IT Field Technician
  • Familiarity with vendors such as Cisco, Meraki, Ubiquiti, TP-Link, or similar
  • Experience working in hospitality, retail, or enterprise environments
  • IT or networking certifications are a plus but not required
