Job description

An exciting opportunity for a Security Infrastructure Engineer to support, maintain and enhance secure IT infrastructure environments. This role combines project delivery, infrastructure improvement, cyber security, and 3rd line support, ensuring systems remain secure, resilient and compliant., * Maintain infrastructure services to agreed availability, performance and security standards.

  • Implement system hardening, patching and vulnerability remediation.
  • Manage access controls, privileged accounts and least-privilege practices.
  • Support endpoint, server and cloud security technologies.
  • Monitor security events, logging and compliance across the infrastructure estate.
  • Investigate and resolve security incidents and infrastructure issues.
  • Support backup, disaster recovery and business continuity processes.
  • Participate in infrastructure projects, migrations and technology upgrades.
  • Contribute to incident response activities and continuous security improvement.

Requirements

3+ years’ experience in infrastructure, cybersecurity, DevSecOps or a similar role.

Experience securing cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS or Google Cloud.

Strong knowledge of identity and access management, MFA, SSO and privileged access controls.

Experience with security tools including SIEM, EDR and vulnerability management platforms.

Linux administration, system hardening and patch management experience.

Experience investigating and responding to security incidents.

Technical Skills

Strong understanding of networking technologies including TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls and VPNs.

Knowledge of automation and Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Python or Bash.

Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.

Understanding of security frameworks such as NIST, CIS Benchmarks and ISO 27001.

Strong troubleshooting, documentation and communication skills.

Due to a highly secure envrionment you must be eligable for SC clearance and be born in an ITAR friendly country
