Job description

  • Design and build backend systems using Java, Go, Python or Kotlin
  • Own features end-to-end: architecture, development, testing, deployment
  • Improve system performance, reliability, and maintainability
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on product and platform improvements
  • Contribute to tech evaluations, architecture reviews, and long-term planning

Requirements

  • 3-5+ years of backend engineering experience
  • Proficiency in Java Go, Python or Kotlin (Any is fine)
  • Experience with both relational and NoSQL databases
  • Strong fundamentals and an agile, collaborative mindset
  • Bonus: experience with microservices, Spring/JPA, gRPC/GraphQL, DDD, or DevOps practices
  • Intermediate Japanese (N3+)
