Job description
Development, implementation and testing of software for medical products, which represent state-of-the-art technology. Focus is on delivering innovative solutions that meet customer as well as regulatory requirements, particularly those related to safety and effectiveness. Coordination of software-related tasks within a cross-functional environment, aligning priorities with project leaders, and effectively facilitate collaboration across different departments. The deliverables contribute to increasing the competitiveness and commercial success of Dornier MedTech and its subsidiaries, particularly DMT Systems. Solutions are provided in a cost- and time-efficient manner and by strong collaboration with stakeholders and cross-functional departments. primary responsibilities: a) Software development
- Development, implementation and verification of architecture, concepts and solutions according to product and design specifications
- Ability to coordinate software-related tasks within a cross-functional environment, align priorities with project leads, and effectively facilitate collaboration across different departments.
- Coordination and cooperation with third-party suppliers and contractors
- Supporting project management in planning software-related tasks
- Collection and determination of technical requirements
- Support of trouble shooting in production related to software issues

Sustaining of existing products / systems to ensure stable and reliable operations a spart of the product lifecycle management process b) Documentation
- Adherence of projects goals, national and international standards and regulations (CE, FDA, MDR…)
- Create documentation according to regulatory requirements in the strongly regulated field for medical devices, like requirements, specifications, risk analysis and verification documents
Requirements
- Graduate in engineering or computer science or Technical education (e.g. staatl. gepr. Techniker) with adequate experience
- Proven working experience of 5 years+ of software engineering in the embedded field
- Experience in coordinating software-related tasks and assisting with project planning is desirable
- Experience in a regulated environment, preferably in the field of regulated medical devices or a different domain
- profound knowledge in Ansi C, C++
- experience with interfaces like RS232, RS485, CAN
- experience with RTOS, Yocto and QT
- experience with git, make, gcc are a plus
- Quick learner
- proactive attitude and strong teamplayer
- Systematic work ability and high-quality awareness
