Job description
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys taking ownership, making things happen and being a trusted part of a collaborative team. This is a varied role where you will be directly enabling the business and our clients by ensuring the smooth running of one of our project offices while supporting the DBS Vetting Manager. Youâll work both independently and collaboratively, using your initiative and attention to detail to maintain high standards and respond proactively to the teamâs needs. Reporting to the DBS Vetting Manager, youâll have the opportunity to develop professionally and broaden your responsibilities as you grow within the team., * Supporting the Deloitte business with National Security Vetting (NSV) applications and processes
- Onsite (client site) presence and liaison responsibilities
- Business query support and mailbox management
- Maintaining personnel security databases
- Supporting onboarding activities, including the delivery of security briefings
- Scheduling and delivering vetting interviews
- Providing cover in the absence of the DBS Vetting Manager
Office Management:
- Manage day-to-day operations of our hybrid workplace to enable a positive and inclusive employee/guest experience, maintaining a professional and effective working environment
- Assist with employee and guest onboarding (includes building inductions, Health & Safety briefings, provision of parking permits)
- Manage facilities and Health & Safety compliance, coordinating with vendors to keep the entire office space productive, safe and orderly
- Act as the onsite First Aid representative and Fire Marshal and take responsibility for collating and reporting any incidents/accidents
- Liaise regularly with key stakeholders including the landlord, cleaning contractor and Deloitteâs Central Workplace Services team
- Maintain office provisions including stationery, kitchen supplies, etc
Requirements
- Currently hold Developed Vetting (DV) clearance
- Comfortable with standard business software including MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams
- Personable, self-motivated and resourceful
- An excellent communicator with strong organisation skills
- Sensitive to the need for confidentiality
- Energized by solving problems both big and small
- Calm under pressure and able to manage a large variety of tasks in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Passionate about delivering effective, welcoming and inclusive office environments
Desirable:
- Demonstrable Office Management experience
- First Aid certificate
- Fire safety training
- Appreciation for data and information security
