Senior Vice President Hands On Lead Data Architect Irving TX/ Tampa Fl Hybrid

Lead Data Architect is responsible for the design and support of the Data Architecture to support Citi’s global functions. This includes conceptual, logical and physical data models for the global data stores required by Finance, Enterprise Risk and Compliance across all lines of business. It also includes documentation of the data flows and data value chains as data moves from the front office through the various financial, risk, and reporting functions of the bank. Architect will be responsible for all metadata deliverables and will be actively engaged with development teams to insure that the implementations meet all requirements including audit controls. Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business partners in Finance, Risk, and Regulatory Reporting to develop and maintain conceptual and logical data models in harmony with enterprise business ontologies.
• Engage with enterprise architects and business partners to document current state and design target state data flow designs.
• Oversee transformations from logical models into physical database designs for relational or NoSQL platforms.
• Insure that meta-data in the enterprise data catalog meets all requirements.
• Communicate regularly with architects and modelers working in parallel tracks to maintain consistency of models and other deliverables.
• Oversee development of applications to insure that they are properly designed and support the target state data architecture.
• Contribute to standards for process and data model development.
• Develop or enhance templates and quality standards for team deliverables.

• 10+ or more years of experience in Information Technology
• 7+ years of experience in Data Architecture and Data Modeling.
• 7+ years of complete system development life cycle experience with complex data integration solutions using relational and/or cloud data platforms.
• 5 + years of experience in Financial Services (preferably banking) with focus on Finance, Risk, and/or Regulatory Reporting
• 3+ years of experience in a lead role
• Domain knowledge of banking products such as deposits, loans, securities, derivatives, etc.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Ability to work independently under strict deadlines.
• Experience with UML modeling and Magicdraw a strong plus.
• Experience with Cloud-based solutions a strong plus.
• Relational Database (Oracle, Netezza, etc.) and/or Big Data

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
• Master’s degree preferred
