Job description

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Functional Analyst to join a fast-paced Corporate Functions Technology team supporting global stakeholders in a leading financial services environment. Reporting to the Oracle EBS Support Manager, you will provide expert day-to-day functional support and assist with project initiatives across Finance, Operations, Procurement, and IT. The role requires strong knowledge of Oracle Financials, Purchasing, and Projects modules, along with a proactive and detail-oriented approach., * Provide functional support for Oracle E-Business Suite v12.2.11 and assist in project delivery.

  • Respond to and resolve problem tickets from the business via ServiceNow.
  • Elicit and understand functional and non-functional requirements to design and deliver solutions.
  • Identify and evaluate complex problems to develop effective solutions.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and share system knowledge.
  • Produce detailed documentation related to support and development activities.
  • Support banking platforms integrated with Oracle EBS.
  • Perform ad hoc duties as required.

Requirements

  • Strong functional understanding of Oracle EBS Financials, Purchasing, and Projects/OTL modules.
  • Basic to good technical knowledge of Oracle EBS.
  • Solid understanding of finance process flows and double-entry accounting principles.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience as an Oracle EBS Functional Analyst or Consultant.
  • Experience with modules including iProc, iExp, PO, AP, AR, GL, FA, PA, OTL.
  • Familiarity with More4apps, GL Wand, Hubble, and ConfigSnapshot is advantageous.
  • Experience in change projects or programmes; project management experience is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
  • Part-qualified accountant (e.g., AAT, ACCA, ACA, CIMA) or equivalent experience.
  • Basic SQL knowledge.
  • Understanding of project management methodologies.
  • Advanced MS Office skills.
  • Experience with version control (e.g., Git) and backlog tools (e.g., JIRA).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritise workload and work independently and as part of a team.
