Senior Software Engineer (SEG3)

Position Description: You will provide support to the Program and Deputy Program Manager of a 200 person contractor team that includes subcontractor personnel., Software Engineers research, design, and develop computer and network software or specialized utility programs. They may also perform the following duties:

• Analyze user needs and develop software solutions, applying principles and techniques of computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis.
• Update or enhance existing software capabilities.
• Work with other functional disciplines (e.g., project management, acquisition, logistics, security, etc.) to integrate hardware and software systems, develop specifications, and performance requirements.
• Maintain databases within an application area.

• Must be able to obtain a Secret Clearance
• Master’s degree in a quantitative field such as engineering or mathematics (e.g. Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or Information Systems)
• 10 Years experience working with software engineering

Preferred / Desired Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

• Active Secret Clearance
• Project Management Professional (PMP)
• 7 Years experience working with at least one of the following: Surface Radars, Electronic Warfare, EO/IR, Decoys and/or Laser software system/subsystem design, development, production and/or test experience
