AI Full Stack Developer

CGI Federal is seeking an AI Full Stack Developer to design and build intelligent, data driven applications that enable mission and business outcomes. This role is ideal for full stack developers who are passionate about artificial intelligence and enjoy working end to end, from building responsive front end interfaces and robust back end services to integrating AI and machine learning capabilities into production applications. Integrate AI and machine learning capabilities into applications, including LLM based features, generative AI, and intelligent automation. Build and consume APIs and services to connect applications with AI models, data sources, and external systems. Develop and optimize data pipelines and workflows that feed AI/ML features and application functionality. Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements and translate them into technical designs and working software. Troubleshoot, optimize, and monitor application performance, reliability, and data quality. Participate in code reviews, document solutions, and follow engineering and responsible AI best practices.

Bachelor’s degree in a related field (or equivalent experience). 1-6 years of experience in software development, full stack engineering, or a related field. Hands on experience building full stack applications (front end and back end). Experience applying AI/ML or generative AI in applications (e.g., integrating LLMs, AI APIs, or ML models). Proficiency in Python and SQL. Experience with a modern front end framework (e.g., React, Angular, or Vue) and back end/API development. Familiarity with Git and CI/CD fundamentals. Strong problem solving and communication skills

Desired qualifications/non essential skills required: Experience with AI/ML services from cloud providers (e.g., Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock/SageMaker). Cloud experience (AWS/Azure/GCP). Experience with API integration (REST) and building data pipelines/data models. Familiarity with prompt engineering, RAG (retrieval augmented generation), or vector databases. Familiarity with governance, security, and responsible AI concepts in regulated environments. Relevant certifications are a plus., * Artificial Intelligence

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $79,600.00 $172,400.00.
