Job description

Develop and enhance backend applications that manage virtual network environments, containers, and virtual machine infrastructure.
Build and maintain scalable REST APIs that enable customers to create, deploy, and interact with simulated network topologies.
Partner with engineering teams to optimize resource utilization across compute, storage, and networking layers.
Design automation capabilities that support infrastructure-as-code testing and network validation workflows.

Requirements

5-8 years of backend software engineering experience with a focus on distributed systems or infrastructure platforms.
Strong networking knowledge with a solid understanding of TCP/IP, Layer 2/Layer 3 switching, routing protocols, and core network architecture concepts.
Strong programming skills in Python or Go, including experience with Linux systems programming and operating system internals.
Hands-on experience with virtualization and containerization technologies such as QEMU, Libvirt, Docker, and/or Kubernetes.
Experience designing, developing, and maintaining RESTful APIs

Benefits & conditions

Salary range: $115,000-$140,000 annually
