CoreWeave is seeking a Finance Manager, Data Centers, to strengthen the Data Center Finance team’s planning and analytical capabilities. This is a hands-on, individual contributor role reporting to the Senior Manager of Data Center Finance. With forecast direction and priorities set by Data Center Finance leadership, you will work alongside Senior Financial Analysts to build and maintain detailed financial models, execute planning cycles, and solve complex and ambiguous operating questions. You will independently lead high-priority workstreams, influence cross-functional partners, and translate detailed analysis into clear recommendations and executive-ready narratives that improve data center performance, profitability, and cost discipline.
- Data Center OpEx Planning & Performance: Execute planning, forecasting, and performance analysis for the Data Center Finance team’s operating expense (OpEx) and related cost portfolio, including lease costs, power, equipment financing, and other site operating costs. Independently own complex workstreams and work directly in models, reporting, and underlying data while strengthening cost controls and performance tracking.
- Financial Modeling & Forecasting: Build, maintain, and enhance detailed financial models for CoreWeave’s global power footprint, site operating costs, and deployment timing, partnering with Capacity Planning and Power & Sustainability to translate operating assumptions into financial forecasts aligned with growth timelines.
- Planning Cycles & Executive Analysis: Execute monthly, quarterly, annual, and long-range planning cycles, including forecast updates, variance analysis, and scenario modeling, and translate results into actionable insights and executive-ready narratives.
- Financial Reporting: Deliver accurate, timely financial reports and presentations for executive reviews, ensure strict compliance with financial policies, and use reporting to drive proactive decisions.
- Hands-On Business Partnership: Work alongside Senior Financial Analysts directly in models and underlying data, helping resolve complex analytical questions and ensuring outputs are accurate, consistent, and decision-ready. Serve as a hands-on financial partner to Data Center Operations, Capacity Planning, and Power & Sustainability.
- Cost Optimization: Initiate and champion expense-optimization strategies across recurring and non-recurring data center operating expenses, partnering with functional leads to identify and realize savings.
- Cross-Functional Leadership & Automation: Lead complex, ambiguous finance workstreams across Data Center Operations, Real Estate, Sales, and other departments. Build and implement automation and process improvements for recurring planning, forecasting, reporting, and data workflows.
Requirements
- 6+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, corporate finance, investment banking, private equity, asset management, or a similar role.
- Demonstrated experience influencing cross-functional stakeholders and driving decisions without direct authority.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
- Demonstrated hands-on experience building and maintaining complex financial and operational models, with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the ability to work directly with detailed data.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, influence, and act as a thought partner to executive-level stakeholders through clear written and verbal financial communication.
- Demonstrated experience leading multiple concurrent workstreams with competing priorities.
Preferred:
- Knowledge of data center finance topics, including energy market dynamics, leasing structures, and cost-optimization strategies.
- Familiarity with facilities engineering or critical-facility operations, including the repair and maintenance cost drivers associated with mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) infrastructure.
- Experience with NetSuite.
