Software Engineer - Mission Planning

If you’re energized by tackling hard problems, fascinated by mission-focused engineering, and ready to build tools that guide critical decisions, we’d be excited to welcome you to the team., + Play a key role in designing, developing, deploying, and demonstrating feature-rich applications and R&D projects

• Collaborate with customers to identify functional requirements and develop quality solutions
• Work with your team to test, develop, peer review, and continuously integrate changes into the code base
• Conduct research for, report on, and create proof-of-concepts and prototypes for modern ways to support next generation aviation mission planning
• Learn emerging technologies and programming tools to keep you and your team as well equipped as possible

• Has a bachelor’s degree in software engineering, Computer Science, or a similar technical field and 3 years of experience.
• Has background in developing mission planning applications for the DoW
• Actively programs with one or more of the following languages: C#, Razor, or Java
• Has experience using Web frameworks such as Blazor, .NET MAUI, or ASP.NET
• Demonstrates strong fundamental skills in software design and development and the ability to coordinate the team’s workflow
• Engages with teammates, both virtually and face-to-face, to plan projects, seek out or provide help on issues, as well as present solutions to clients
• Manages time well and can prioritize a team’s tasks to ensure projects are completed on time
• Must be a U.S. Citizen and be able to complete a U.S. government background investigation, + Have experience developing containerized microservices in a Kubernetes environment
• Have examples of code or applications you’ve built that we can check out
• Are proficient with multiple IDEs, Languages, or Frameworks
• Have a background taking an entire development through launch
• Can demonstrate proficiency with AI-Assisted software development workflows
• Received one or more Scrum, Microsoft, Google Developer certifications or any other technical certifications
