Data Center Technician

We are seeking experienced Data Center Technicians to support a large-scale data center construction project in Red Oak, TX. This project is expected to last approximately 3-4 months, with the potential for extension and possible long-term opportunities based on business needs and performance.

Technicians will support the installation and deployment of fiber optic and copper cabling infrastructure within a fast-paced data center environment.

Schedule

• Night shift
• Start time: 7:00 PM (subject to project requirements)

Responsibilities

• Pull, route, and install fiber optic and copper cabling
• Install backbone fiber, including high-count fiber cabling
• Install and connect pre-terminated fiber into cassettes and related equipment
• Perform cable dressing, labeling, and cable management
• Complete fiber and copper terminations
• Assist with rack and stack activities
• Support fiber testing and troubleshooting activities
• Utilize testing equipment such as Fluke testers and OTDR equipment when required
• Maintain compliance with site safety standards and established installation procedures

Fiber Optics Communication Copper Cabling Network Routing Safety Standards Strong Work Ethic Business Valuation Fiber Optic Testing Packaging And Labeling Full Stack Development Wire And Cable Pulling Artificial Intelligence Business Transformation Ability To Meet Deadlines Troubleshooting (Problem Solving) Optical Time-Domain Reflectometer, * 1 year of experience in data center cabling installation

• Experience pulling, routing, dressing, labeling, and terminating fiber optic and copper cabling
• Familiarity with rack and stack activities within a data center environment
• Ability to work in a fast-paced construction or data center setting

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience testing and troubleshooting fiber or copper cabling using Fluke or OTDR equipment
• Previous experience supporting large-scale data center deployments
