Cloud Directory Architect/Admin

Directory Services Architect responsible for identification, adoption and rollout of next generation Cloud Directory and Core (DHCP, DNS, NPS) architecture. Senior level position also entails SME Level 3 support for existing Directory and Core environment. Job role expectation: Architecture 50%+, SME Level 3 50%., * Investigate and keep current with new technologies and offerings in the AD and Core areas

• Work with the Technology and Architecture role to plan AD and Core strategies for next 3-5 years

• Experience in Cloud Directory Services design including migrating mid to large enterprise On-Premises AD to Azure or similar Cloud Directory
• Proven ability to reduce complexity and dependence on On-Premises Active Directory
• Experience with migration of On-Premise DNS to Cloud environment
• Knowledge and skill regarding Identity Access Management (MFA, SSO, SAML, OAuth)

Senior Level Directory and Core SME Required Experience:

• Ability to manage operation, health, and security of production forests/domains with DC’s located in multiple Azure geographically dispersed locations. (Active Directory Design, Active Directory Replication, Active Directory Maintenance and Troubleshooting, Azure Active Directory, Group Policy Management, Group Policy Design and Structuring, Group Policy, PowerShell Scripting)
• Knowledge and skills in the management, security, structure, and objects within Azure AD tenant
• Responsible for management and health of AAD sync between On-Premises AD and Azure AD
• Possesses advanced knowledge of Windows Server Operating Systems (Windows servers 2012, 2016, 2019, Windows 10 client OS.
• Understanding and knowledge of network principles for troubleshooting and isolation (IPv4 and IPv6 addressing and subnetting, Ethernet LAN, TCP/IP, UDP, switches, routing concepts, virtual network concepts)
• Experience in managing and troubleshooting DNS (Windows/BIND), DHCP, NPS
• Experience with AD management tools such as Quest products (ARS, Change Auditor)
