Job description

  • This position is responsible for inline range deployment and planning to enable DC operations in meeting business target and customer/consumer demand.
  • The person will also play a critical role in pre-season deployment among main DCs and 3PL warehouses for both B2B and B2C business order fulfilment.
  • Drive and coordinate to monitor inventory status and follow up on inventory actions with cross functional team., * Perform deployment operation tasks in related system, according to DC storage and processing capacity and operations planning, aiming to optimise DC Operations to deliver products and service to customers based on agreed service level agreement.
  • Support and conduct deployment activities (inline range) from start to end, especially for B2B deployment activities or process enhancement.
  • Assign the right DC to customer/store/consumer locations at the lowest cost and still meet service level target, find the optimal mix of inventory for each DC, identify efficient model between initial allocation and replenishment, finetune B2B regional study based on current network design, consolidate demand forecast of WS, retail and eCom, monitor supply status as well as order demand fulfilment performance.
  • Communicate routine planning updates and special project handling to DC operational teams to plan the actions with alignment to achieve the business targets.
  • Understand channel business plan, business model and end to end process from range planning to product fulfilment. Play a critical role on behalf of supply chain to analyse consumer purchase behaviour against DC network setup, DC floor operation to define and propose deployment strategy as per buying plan.
  • Understand DC floor operations to review, analyse and improve DC operations for the best utilization of equipment and people resources.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of relevant technology/systems that supports DC Planning and KPI reporting, provide properly structured input and feedback to IT and Systems regarding ongoing issues and further enhancement.
  • Set performance target with high standards, proactively identify training and development needs, find improvement opportunity, continues to understand end-to-end business process, work together more effectively with other functions.

Requirements

  • Knowledge and experience supply chain and operation management is required.
  • Skill with an emphasis on communications both externally and internally across x functions.
  • Must have strong analytical skills and logical thinking with paying high attention to details.
  • Capable of performing multiple tasks under time constraints.
  • Competency with MS Excel, Word, PPT, Power BI and Project.
  • Strategic, self-motivated, open-minded and ability to work independently and under pressure with minimal supervision., * Bachelor’s degree or above, majored in SCM/Logistics.
  • 1+ years working experience.
  • Solid planning experience.
  • Familiar with BI system.
  • Experience in retail or FMCG a plus
