Job description

You will be responsible for building the financial engine that powers the marketplace’s payments infrastructure. This includes processing large ACH transactions and developing new financial products. The role involves working primarily on the backend with Python, while also engaging with frontend technologies like React and React Native.

You’ll join a small, focused team of engineers dedicated to the payments infrastructure, collaborating closely on a ticketing basis to address complex challenges.

What You’ll Do

  • Process large-value transactions through integrations with Stripe and banking partners
  • Build and maintain a custom double-entry ledger system
  • Develop new ledgers for future financial products
  • Work primarily with Python on the backend and React/React Native on the frontend
  • Collaborate within a small payments pod to deliver solutions, 2. We’ll review and reach out if there’s a strong match 3. If aligned, we’ll introduce you directly to the team 4. Requirements

  • 3-5+ years of experience as a fullstack engineer
  • Proficient in Python, Postgres, AWS, React, and TypeScript
  • Experience with large-value transaction processing and ledger systems
  • Strong collaboration skills within a small, focused engineering team
