ML Engineer, Sr. - Remote

The Machine Learning Engineer will develop and productionize machine learning algorithms that power personalization, recommendations, and engagement across Disney Streaming products such as Disney+ and Hulu. As an individual contributor, you will lead recommendation and personalization research, development, and deployment while collaborating with Engineering, Product, Data, and Editorial teams. • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field
• 5+ years of experience developing machine learning models, large-scale data analysis, or data engineering solutions
• 5+ years of experience writing production-level scalable code
• Strong Python and SQL programming skills
• 3+ years of experience developing algorithms for production systems
• Strong understanding of modern machine learning and deep learning methods
• Strong understanding of the mathematical foundations of machine learning
• Experience building big-data solutions and production pipelines
• Experience with Databricks, S3, and Spark
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• MS or PhD in a quantitative field preferred
• Experience with content recommendation algorithms preferred
• Experience with full-stack ML pipelines preferred
• Knowledge of metadata management, data lineage, and data governance preferred
