Job description
As an EDI Coordinator, you will be part of the ERP Admin team and serve in that role. The ERP Admin team is responsible for managing and supporting IFS ERP and other business applications. The team ensures smooth operation of the system, resolves technical issues, and collaborates with various stakeholders to optimize system functionality and enhance operational efficiency.
This role will be the teams EDI specialist and the subject matter expert on the implementation, troubleshooting, & maintenance of new and existing trading partners (customers and suppliers).
What Youll Do: *
- Setup, testing, and maintenance of maps and trading partnerships in our B2B integration tool; Perform unit, integration, and user acceptance testing of EDI solutions.
- Monitoring daily reports and errors for both transformations and data communication connections.
- Respond to internal and external research requests.
- Support and maintain EDI integrations utilizing Cleo Integration Cloud (CIC) and IFS Cloud ERP.
- Investigate and resolve EDI transmission, mapping, translation, and data validation errors.
- Create, modify, and maintain EDI maps, transformation rules, and business process workflows within Cleo and IFS.
- Support the onboarding of new trading partners and implementation of new EDI transactions.
- Analyze customer and supplier EDI implementation guides and translate requirements into system configurations.
- Maintain documentation mappings for ANSI X12 and EDIFACT transaction standards.
- Work cross-functionally with Customer Service, Supply Chain, Logistics, Finance, Procurement, and IT teams, while also working closely with the Database Administrator, Business Systems Analysts, Infrastructure / Operations team, and EDI VAN
- Maintain EDI documentation, process flows, mapping specifications, and support procedures.
- Participates in after-hours support during evenings and weekends as needed.
- Develops and maintains documentation, knowledge base of best practices, and procedural manuals
- Additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of ERP experience with medium to large-scale ERP platforms (IFS, Epicor, Infor, Microsoft Dynamics).
- Minimum of 2 years with EDI -specific experience. This should include setting up new trading partners, not just managing transactions and errors.
- BS Degree in Computer Science, MIS or similar technical discipline preferred but not required.
- Direct experience with EDI Value Added Network (Cleo experience is a plus)
- Working knowledge of EDI X12 and EDIFACT standards.
- Familiarity with these specific documents is a plus 850, 860, 855, 856, 810, ORDER, ORDRSP, INVOIC, DESADV, ORDCHG
- Experience with JavaScript, XML, JSON, and flat-file integrations preferred.
