Microsoft Purview Engineer

The Microsoft Purview Engineer plays a key role in implementing and managing enterprise security and compliance solutions using Microsoft Purview. This position focuses on protecting sensitive data, enforcing information protection policies, and ensuring regulatory compliance across Microsoft 365 and Azure environments., * Deploy and manage Microsoft Purview tools for data loss prevention (DLP), insider risk management, and information protection.

• Configure sensitivity labels, encryption policies, and access controls to secure data across cloud and hybrid environments.
• Integrate Purview with Microsoft Defender, Sentinel, and other security platforms to enhance threat detection and response.
• Monitor and respond to security incidents related to data access and usage.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity, compliance, and IT teams to align Purview configurations with organizational security policies.
• Provide technical guidance and training on Purview’s security and compliance capabilities.

• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Purview, Microsoft 365 Compliance Center, and Azure security services.
• Strong understanding of data protection, identity and access management, and regulatory compliance frameworks (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
• Familiarity with Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Sentinel, and Microsoft Information Protection.
• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., SC-400, SC-200, AZ-500) are highly desirable.
