Vice President / Software Engineer III

• Design, develop, and implement for low latency high frequency Fixed Income eTrading Platform.
• Enhance and support core architecture of RATES eTrading platform, middleware messaging and distributed caching framework.
• Utilize expertise in Core Java to modernize the current platform architecture.
• Analyze current performance and system load to come up with strategic solution.
• Follow release and production change procedures and work with other teams to deliver reliable and functional front-office pricing and trading applications.
• Participate in rotational production support activities.
• Identify, analyze, communicate, and resolve application, infrastructure, and environmental issues and problems.
• Utilize Core Java, Unix, Oracle on low latency high frequency Platform to support the eRates trading platform by providing high speed price data, order generation, and trade capture.
• Work with Middleware Messaging (AMPS/Kafka/JMS/MQ/Tibco RV) to distribute market and transactional data.
• Leverage RATES Fixed Income Products including Order / Trade management to control the overall lifecycle of orders and trades and support the post trade feed for settlement.
• Design service framework and monitor processes to administer process dependency, scheduled operation, and process health check.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Computer Information Systems, Engineering (any) or related; and
• 5 years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or a related IT occupation.
• Must include 5 years of experience in each of the following:
• Utilizing Core Java, Unix, Oracle on low latency high frequency Platform to support the eRates trading platform by providing high speed price data, order generation, and trade capture;
• Working with Middleware Messaging (AMPS/Kafka/JMS/MQ/Tibco RV) to distribute market and transactional data;
• Leveraging RATES Fixed Income Products including Order / Trade management to control the overall lifecycle of orders and trades and support the post trade feed for settlement; and,
• Designing service framework and monitoring processes to administer process dependency, scheduled operation, and process health check.
• In the alternative, the employer will accept a Master’s degree and 3 years of experience.
