Join our highly talented and motivated team of more than 200+ people and work on cutting-edge robot technology.The OpportunityWe are seeking a motivated and skilled Frontend Engineer to join our Workforce Team, responsible for the development and maintenance of the Workforce Suite - including Data Navigator, Mission Controller, and Field Operator App. These applications empower our customers to effectively deploy and operate a fleet of autonomous robots, surfacing valuable and actionable inspection insights.Working closely with UX designers, Backend Engineers, Product Managers, Quality Assurance, and Robotics Specialists, you strive to improve the end-user experience, making advanced robotics solutions effective despite the challenging industrial environment and independent of the user’s background and prior knowledge.Additionally, you will have the opportunity to evolve our frontend development practice, ensuring an effective developer experience by building modular, reliable, and reusable solutions.The Market & Our TechnologyANYbotics transforms industrial plants in the energy, process, and utility sector by introducing robotics to a wide range of novel applications that so far were beyond reach. As we embark on this exciting journey, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Frontend Engineer to join our team and help us shape the future of robotic inspection intelligence.Your ContributionsDevelop and maintain efficient and user-friendly web-based interfaces using Angular, Angular Material, and related technologies.Create and implement elegant workflows that enhance the overall user experience.Collaborate with UX designers to transform design concepts into functional, responsive web interfaces.Implement and optimise data visualisation, real-time updates, 3D views, and other interactive components to streamline user interactions in complex environmentsCollaborate with backend engineers to integrate APIs and ensure smooth data flow between the front-end and back-end components.Conduct code reviews, testing, and troubleshooting to maintain code quality and identify and resolve issues promptly.Stay updated on the latest industry trends and technologies, recommending improvements and best practices to enhance our products.Improving and maintaining the existing software stack (including direct contributions to CI/CD, tools)Participation in planning, organisation, and tracking of personal and team objectives and tasksWriting testable code and clean software documentationBe an example to the company for the feasibility of well-executed cross-border workYour ProfileEngineering or science degree with a focus on computer scienceProven recent experience as a frontend developer with expertise in Angular 2+ (we are currently on v20)Strong understanding of web development, software engineering best practices, and UI/UX principlesWrite clean, maintainable, well-structured, and efficient codeDiligent way of working and a keen eye for detailsExperience with unit testing and integration testingAbility to coordinate the definition of interfaces with backend servicesExcellent communication skills in EnglishStrong in self-coordination, able to structure your work independently, and deliver resultsExperience with Git and CI/CD pipeline (Gitlab)Willing to travel ca. 2-3 times per year to co-locate with ANYbotics team members and usersBonus PointsFull-stack development experience, especially with NestJS, is a big plusExperience with Babylon.js or similar 3D visualization frameworkExperience with video/data streaming and associated protocols (e.g. WebRTC)Experience with event-based protocols and frameworks such as MQTT and ROS2We’re an international robotics company with the A-team spread across the Globe.
