Job description
As our Infrastructure Tester, you’ll join a dedicated, high-performing team delivering secure, scalable, and high-quality solutions within the Defence and Security sector.

Due to the nature of work, this role is onsite, based in Gloucestershire, with compressed working hours considered, for example working five days over four.
What you’ll be doing:
- Validating and verifying infrastructure components, systems and networks to ensure performance, reliability and security requirements are met.
- Carrying out functional and non-functional testing across physical and virtual infrastructure.
- Performing end-to-end integration testing.
- Analysing test results and producing clear and accurate documentation.
- Managing test activities independently and contributing to project delivery.
- Supporting the continuous improvement of test approaches, tooling, and frameworks.
Requirements
- Experience working in Infrastructure Test roles such as Infrastructure Test Support or Infrastructure Test Engineer.
- A strong technical background in Windows Client and Server operating systems across physical and virtual environments.
- Experience of end-to-end integration testing.
- ISTQB Foundation Level certification, preferably up to Advanced Level Technical Test Analyst or equivalent qualifications.
It would be great if you had:
- Knowledge of Windows 10 or 11 and Windows Server 2019, 2022 or 2025.
- Experience with VMware, Hyper-V or Citrix.
