Forward Deployed Data Engineer

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Forward Deployed Data Engineer based in Spain.This is a high-impact, customer-facing engineering role focused on delivering large-scale data platform migration projects powered by advanced AI automation. You will operate at the intersection of data engineering, consulting, and technical delivery leadership, owning complex migrations from scoping through execution and final handoff. The role requires deep engagement with customer environments, where you will rapidly understand existing data architectures and ensure seamless transition to modern platforms. Acting as both a technical lead and delivery owner, you will manage multiple concurrent projects while removing blockers and ensuring timelines are met. You will also collaborate closely with internal engineering teams to configure and optimize proprietary migration tooling.
