Job description

Working closely with designers and the wider development team, you’ll be responsible for developing, maintaining and enhancing web applications while ensuring a seamless user experience across desktop and mobile platforms., * Develop and maintain web applications using Laravel

  • Build responsive, user-friendly websites and web-based solutions
  • Write clean, efficient and maintainable code using HTML, CSS and JavaScript
  • Collaborate with designers and stakeholders to deliver new features and functionality
  • Troubleshoot, debug and resolve technical issues
  • Ensure websites perform consistently across browsers and devices
  • Support ongoing improvements to existing applications
  • Participate in code reviews and development best practices
  • Assist with WordPress development and content-driven websites
  • Work collaboratively to deliver projects on time and to a high standard
  • Contribute ideas to improve user experience, functionality and performance

Requirements

  • Commercial experience working with Laravel
  • Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript
  • Experience working with WordPress
  • Familiarity with Git version control
  • Understanding of relational databases such as MySQL
  • Experience developing responsive and mobile-friendly websites
  • Strong attention to detail and code quality
  • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
  • Basic image editing skills using Photoshop or similar software
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively
