Job description

  • Coordinate and drive Service Readiness activities-spanning people, processes, systems, equipment, and training-across multiple programs and operational initiatives to ensure successful implementation and transition into service.
  • Develop and maintain readiness plans, schedules, checklists, and trackers, and monitor milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, and action items to keep activities on track.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve readiness gaps ahead of implementation, deployment, or launch.
  • Analyze operational data and develop reports, dashboards, and metrics that communicate readiness status and trends, and prepare clear leadership updates and presentations.
  • Coordinate stakeholder meetings, working sessions, and readiness reviews, and conduct root-cause analysis to recommend solutions to operational challenges.
  • Identify and implement improvements to Service Readiness processes, tools, and workflows, and maintain accurate documentation to ensure requirements are consistently followed.
  • Support surge activities and shifting priorities, escalating significant risks and barriers while proactively resolving routine issues to protect quality and deadlines.
  • Build strong cross-departmental relationships and serve as a knowledgeable Service Readiness resource, supporting the Service Readiness Manager and SRT Lead on special projects and strategic initiatives., Compensation ranges for ASM Research positions vary depending on multiple factors; including but not limited to, location, skill set, level of education, certifications, client requirements, contract-specific affordability, government clearance and investigation level, and years of experience. The compensation displayed for this role is a general guideline based on these factors and is unique to each role. Monetary compensation is one component of ASM’s overall compensation and benefits package for employees.

Requirements

The ideal candidate is an organized, analytical, and proactive problem solver who can manage multiple priorities, identify risks, coordinate across functional teams, and drive work to completion with limited direction., * Bachelor’s degree in business, operations, project management, supply chain, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

  • A minimum of two to five years of experience in operations, project management, program support, implementation, service readiness, onboarding, or workforce planning, or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple, competing priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues, develop solutions, and follow through to resolution.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams in a remote environment.
  • No security clearance is required for this position; candidates must be eligible to work fully remote within the United States., * Prior experience in operational readiness, service delivery, implementation, transition, or launch activities within an enterprise or federal IT environment.
  • Project management experience or familiarity with project management methodologies and related certifications.
  • Experience developing dashboards, KPIs, or operational reporting to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Familiarity with process improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma, gained while supporting cross-functional teams and multiple stakeholder groups in a changing environment., The physical requirements described in “Knowledge, Skills and Abilities” above are representative of those which must be met by an employee to successfully perform the primary functions of this job.
