Job description

As a Senior Full Stack Engineer, you will make an impact by designing, developing, and deploying scalable, cloud-native enterprise applications that leverage AWS services and automation to deliver reliable and secure solutions. You will be a valued member of the Cognizant Digital Engineering team and work collaboratively with DevOps, QA, and Architecture teams., * Design, develop, and maintain scalable cloud-native applications using Java, Python, and AWS services.

  • Build and support RESTful APIs and microservices following industry best practices.
  • Integrate AWS native services to build resilient and event-driven solutions.
  • Ensure application performance, scalability, security, and maintainability.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation and design artefacts while contributing to knowledge sharing and technical mentoring within the team.

Requirements

  • Strong hands-on experience in Java and Python development for building enterprise-grade applications and microservices.
  • Proven experience with AWS Cloud Services, including Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, RDS, ECS/EKS, CloudWatch, IAM, and Secrets Manager.
  • Solid understanding of RESTful API design, microservices architecture, and cloud-native application development.
  • Experience working with relational and NoSQL databases, including performance optimisation and data modelling.
  • Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across development, QA, DevOps, and business teams.

Benefits & conditions

  • The annual salary for this position is between $81,000 - $155,000 depending on the experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
  • This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans., * Medical/Dental/Vision/Life Insurance
