Project Manager - SAP BW/4HANA Upgrade & Business Objects Exit

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the planning, coordination, governance, execution, and successful delivery of the SAP BW Upgrade and Business Objects (BO) Exit Program. The program includes upgrading SAP BW to BW/4HANA, rationalizing and retiring Business Objects reporting components, migrating and modernizing reporting capabilities, infrastructure readiness, testing coordination, and alignment with the SAP ERP Upgrade roadmap. The Project Manager will work closely with Product Management, Architecture, Infrastructure, Reporting, Finance, Treasury, Corporate teams, SAP technical teams, Data & Analytics teams, and external vendors to ensure successful delivery of program objectives. This is primarily a project management role; however, experience with SAP BW, BW/4HANA, SAP HANA, Business Objects, Enterprise Data Warehouse, analytics modernization, or similar initiatives is highly desirable. The organization operates within a SAFe Agile framework, so the ideal candidate should have strong experience working with Agile Release Trains (ARTs), Program Increment (PI) Planning, cross-functional Agile teams, and enterprise-scale delivery. The Project Manager will be responsible for maintaining the Integrated Project Management Plan, Program Roadmap, Milestone Schedule, PI Planning Deliverables, Governance and Steering Committee Materials, Weekly and Monthly Status Reports, RAID Logs, Dependency Tracking Matrix, Communication Plan, Testing and Deployment Readiness Assessments, Cutover and Release Plans, Executive Dashboards, Lessons Learned, and Project Closure Documentation. The role will work closely with Finance, Treasury, Corporate teams, Product Owners, Enterprise Architecture, SAP ERP Upgrade teams, Data & Analytics, Infrastructure & Cloud, Security & Compliance, SAP Technical teams, Business Intelligence and Reporting teams, vendors, implementation partners, PMO leadership, senior management, and Steering Committee members.

The ideal candidate is a seasoned enterprise Project Manager with strong delivery leadership, governance, stakeholder management, and Agile program management experience. Candidates who combine enterprise project management expertise with practical knowledge of SAP BW/BW/4HANA modernization, Business Objects, enterprise reporting, data platforms, and SAFe Agile delivery will be strongly preferred., * Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.

• 10+ years of experience leading enterprise technology programs or large-scale transformation initiatives.
• Demonstrated experience managing complex cross-functional programs involving multiple stakeholders and delivery teams.
• Strong risk, dependency, stakeholder, vendor, and program management skills.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, negotiation, and leadership abilities.
• Experience managing enterprise reporting, ERP, data, analytics, platform modernization, or similar technology initiatives.
• Proven experience working effectively across business and technical teams.

Qualifications

• Experience with SAP BW, BW/4HANA, SAP HANA, Business Objects, Data Warehouse, or Analytics modernization programs.
• Experience supporting Finance, Treasury, Corporate, or ERP-related initiatives.
• Experience with Analysis for Office (AO), BEx reporting, enterprise reporting ecosystems, Databricks, or modern analytics platforms.
• Experience with SAP upgrade and transformation programs, data migration, and reporting rationalization.
• PMP certification.
• SAFe Agilist (SA), SAFe Scrum Master (SSM), SAFe Release Train Engineer (RTE), or equivalent SAFe certification.
• Demonstrated experience working within SAFe Agile organizations and Agile Release Trains (ARTs).
