About us: Without Jungheinrich your shopping cart would probably remain empty.And it does not stop there!Every day our devices transport millions of goods in logistics centres all over the world.Our mission at Jungheinrich Digital Solutions Spain is next level intralogistics powered by technology, passion and a great team spirit.We are an international corporate IT Hub based in the heart of Madrid and develop intelligent warehouse management solutions and process-reliable warehouse automation for our customers to make their lives easier.About the role: We are looking for a Data Engineer with 3-5 years of experience to join our Data Analytics & AI Services Team, team responsible for operating and continuously enhancing Jungheinrich’s central data platform, enabling analytics and AI use cases across the entire organization.Join us and be part of a great team where “WE” come first :) Responsibilities: Build and operate scalable data pipelines and reusable data products on Azure and Databricks Help develop and operate Jungheinrich’s central data platform Work across the full data engineering lifecycle, from data integration and transformation to deploying and operating data products Integrate and process a broad range of enterprise data, IoT data and unstructured data Develop data transformations and data models using Python, PySpark and SQL Contribute to solution architecture, system design and data engineering standards Ensure reliable production operations through testing and monitoring Work closely with AI Engineers, Data Analysts and business users across functions such as Sales, After Sales, Finance, Automation and Technology Turn business requirements into sustainable, reusable data solution Requirements: University degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Engineering or a related technical field; equivalent professionalexperience may also be considered At least 3 years of professional experience in Data Engineering or a similar role Strong Python and SQL skills Hands-on experience with Azure and Databricks, or equivalent technologies on other cloud platforms Experience building and operating data pipelines and data products, ideally as part of a data team Experience with data modelling and CI/CD in a cloud environment Interest in solution architecture and system design Experience applying data quality, security and governance principles Fluent English Nice to have: Experience with Infrastructure as Code, ideally Terraform Experience with streaming and event-driven data processing Soft skills: Strong sense of ownership Service-oriented and customer-focused mindset Strong analytical, communication and problem-solving skills Curiosity and openness to new technologies Required SkillsRequired Experience
