Senior Backend Engineer Java/Spring, Hibrido

We are looking for a Senior Java Backend Engineer to join our growing Java Development Competence Center.Reporting directly to the Tech Lead, you will be part of an experienced international team, contributing to the design and development of high-quality software solutions for leading international client.This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate backend engineer who enjoys building scalable applications, working with modern technologies and continuously expanding their technical expertise.Responsibilities Design, develop and maintain high-quality backend applications using Java ***** Develop scalable applications based on microservices architecture.Design, develop and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services.Develop applications using Spring Boot and modern Java frameworks.Integrate asynchronous messaging solutions using Kafka.Contribute to frontend developments using Angular 21 when required.Collaborate closely with the Tech Lead to define technical solutions, architecture and development best practices.Write clean, efficient and maintainable code following industry standards.Participate in code reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.Work in an Agile/Scrum environment alongside developers, QA and Business Analysts.Ensure timely delivery while maintaining high quality standards.Requirements ~ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent experience.~4-6+ years of professional experience in Java software development.~ Strong expertise in Java Backend development.~ Solid experience with Java 17.~ Strong experience with Spring Boot.~ Experience with Kafka or other event-driven messaging platforms.~ Proven experience developing microservices-based applications.~ Experience building REST APIs and working with distributed systems.~ Experience with Angular 21 is a plus.~ Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.~ Professional level of English.~ Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.~ Ability to work effectively in an international team.What We Offer: Permanent contract.Hybrid working model (2-3 days on-site).Flexible working hours.Competitive compensation package including attractive employee benefits.Company-sponsored technical and language certifications.Continuous learning and professional development.Participation in international projects for leading clients.A highly technical and international environment within our Java Development Competence Center.Direct mentoring from the Tech Lead and real opportunities for professional growth.
