Job description
We are looking for a Senior QA Automation Engineer to join a technology team working on digital solutions for the utilities sector. You will play a key role in ensuring the quality, reliability, performance, and scalability of software solutions, combining functional testing, test automation, API and UI testing, and CI/CD integration within an Agile environment.Haga clic en “Solicitar” a continuación para enviar su candidatura. Asegúrese de que su CV está actualizado y de que ha leído primero las especificaciones del puesto.ResponsibilitiesDefine and execute functional and technical test strategies, scenarios, and test plans.Design, maintain, and execute automated tests for APIs and user interfaces.Develop and maintain automation frameworks using Playwright and TypeScript.Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to support Continuous Testing and secure deployments.Manage test plans, test execution, defect tracking, and test coverage using Azure DevOps.Analyse test results and collaborate with Development, DevOps, Platform, Architecture, and Product teams to identify and resolve quality issues.Contribute to test environment and test data management.Participate in Agile ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Refinement, and PI Planning.Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, automation practices, quality metrics, and root cause analysis.Requirements4+ years of experience in Software Testing and Quality Assurance, with strong hands-on experience in test automation.Strong experience with Playwright and TypeScript.Experience with API testing, REST APIs, and microservices.Experience with Git, Azure DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines.Good understanding of asynchronous architectures and messaging technologies such as Kafka and RabbitMQ.Experience working in Agile software development environments.Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter or K6 is a plus.ISTQB certification is a plus.Professional English (C1) is mandatory.Location & Work ModelThis position is based in Alicante, Spain. We are looking for candidates who currently live in Alicante or are open to relocating.Hybrid work model: During the first 2 months: 2 days at the office / 3 days remote per week.
