Senior Qa Automation Engineer | Relocation To Alicante - Bilbao

We are looking for aSenior QA Automation Engineerto join a technology team working on digital solutions for the utilities sector.You will play a key role in ensuring the quality, reliability, performance, and scalability of software solutions, combining functional testing, test automation, API and UI testing, and CI/CD integration within an Agile environment.ResponsibilitiesDefine and executefunctional and technical test strategies, scenarios, and test plans.Design, maintain, and execute automated tests forAPIs and user interfaces.Develop and maintain automation frameworks usingPlaywright and TypeScript.Integrate automated tests intoCI/CD pipelinesto support Continuous Testing and secure deployments.Manage test plans, test execution, defect tracking, and test coverage usingAzure DevOps.Analyse test results and collaborate with Development, DevOps, Platform, Architecture, and Product teams to identify and resolve quality issues.Contribute to test environment and test data management.Participate in Agile ceremonies, includingSprint Planning, Refinement, and PI Planning.Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, automation practices, quality metrics, and root cause analysis.Requirements4+ years of experiencein Software Testing and Quality Assurance, with strong hands-on experience in test automation.Strong experience withPlaywright and TypeScript.Experience withAPI testing, REST APIs, and microservices.Experience withGit, Azure DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines.Good understanding of asynchronous architectures and messaging technologies such asKafka and RabbitMQ.Experience working inAgile software development environments.Experience with performance testing tools such asJMeter or K6 isa plus.ISTQB certification is a plus.Professional English (C1) is mandatory.? Location & Work ModelThis position is based inAlicante, Spain.We are looking for candidates who currently live in Alicante or are open to relocating.Hybrid work model: During the first 2 months: 2 days at the office / 3 days remote per week.From the third month onwards: 1 day at the office / 4 days remote per week.What do we offer??
