Job description

We are seeking an experienced Systems Analyst 3 to support enterprise GitHub administration, DevSecOps enablement, and CI/CD workflow automation. The ideal candidate will bridge business objectives and technical solutions, ensuring secure, compliant, and efficient management of the GitHub Enterprise platform.

This role involves analyzing user requirements, reviewing system capabilities, and designing governance, security, and automation processes. The candidate will serve as the GitHub administrator responsible for audit readiness, standardized workflows, and enabling DevSecOps practices across the software development lifecycle., * Administer and govern GitHub Enterprise (Cloud or Server) organizations

  • Implement RBAC, SAML/SSO, branch protection strategies, and workflow policies
  • Develop and maintain GitHub Actions and YAML-based automation for CI/CD
  • Integrate CI/CD pipelines with cloud platforms (AWS preferred)
  • Conduct audit logging, compliance reporting, and access reviews
  • Implement DevSecOps practices within CI/CD pipelines
  • Utilize GitHub Advanced Security tools such as CodeQL and Secret Scanning
  • Develop scripts using Python, Bash, or PowerShell to automate platform tasks
  • Document governance standards, developer guides, and best practices
  • Lead technical enablement sessions (preferred)
  • Support policy-as-code and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) initiatives (preferred)

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in Git-based version control administration
  • 8+ years managing GitHub Enterprise environments
  • Expertise in RBAC, SAML/SSO, branch protection strategies
  • Proficiency with GitHub Actions, CI/CD pipeline integration, and scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
  • Experience implementing DevSecOps practices and security tooling
  • Experience with audit, compliance, and access review processes

Preferred:

  • 4+ years experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep)
  • Knowledge of policy-as-code
  • Experience documenting governance standards and developer guides
  • Experience leading technical enablement sessions
