Job description
- Design, implement, and assure security controls across cloud, infrastructure, and application environments.
- Act as a trusted security advisor to key clients across both the Private and Public Sectors.
- Work on a variety of challenging programmes in a client-facing role.
- Support security assurance across programmes and projects.
- Travel occasionally to client sites across the UK as required.

- Security, We are partnering with an award-winning management consultancy that specialises in delivering technology, data, and transformation solutions to organisations operating within complex and highly regulated environments. The role is based in our Central Bristol office on a hybrid basis, with occasional travel to client sites across the UK. The salary is £65,000-£80,000 plus benefits, and the start date is ASAP. Our benefits include 26 days of annual leave plus bank holidays, increasing with tenure, private medical insurance, training and development, qualification funding, pension, and reservist leave.
Requirements
- Cyber security experience within highly regulated enterprise and/or complex environments, such as Defence, Nuclear, or Banking.
- Strong knowledge of network security, identity and access management, endpoint protection, and cloud security, with Azure preferred and AWS also considered.
- Hands-on experience with SIEM technologies such as Microsoft Sentinel and/or Defender.
- Experience with Azure security posture management, including Defender for Cloud, Secure Score, and Azure Policy.
- Experience in risk assessment, threat modelling, and vulnerability management.
- Strong understanding of security frameworks including ISO 27001, NIST, Secure by Design, and Cyber Essentials.
- Experience with secure system integration, API security, and DevSecOps principles.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience influencing stakeholders and providing security assurance across programmes and projects.
- Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, CompTIA Security+, Azure Security, or AWS Security certifications.
- Active SC Clearance or eligibility to obtain SC clearance.
