Software Engineer Lead (Java FullStack Developer)

As a Software Engineer Lead within PNC’s Lending organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA or Dallas, TX or Strongsville, OH., * Creates and leads the technical design and development of software solutions.

• Proposes & designs software solutions to address complex business needs. Prepares technical and procedural documentation required.
• Facilitates complex problem resolution.
• Provides technical guidance and support to colleagues. Reviews coding, testing, and documentation of software.
• Applies modern principles, methodologies and tools to advance business initiatives and capabilities.

• Lead the design and development of rich, responsive, and scalable UI applications using Angular .

• Own front-end architecture decisions, including component design, state management, performance optimization, and accessibility.

• Java, Spring boot, Microservices architecture, Kakfa, Gradle. Angular/UI knowledge is plus.

• 5+ years of Experience with JAVA, Microservices, OpenShift or other Cloud services (AWS, Azure), Spring Boot, WebSphere, Apache, Apigee.

• Experience with CI/CD tools such as GIT, Jenkins, UDeploy.

• Experience with Build tools like Maven, Gradle.

• Experience in creating Monitoring dashboards in tools like Dynatrace, Humio/Splunk.

• Strong debugging skills - Experience in performance tuning, JVM profiling, capacity planning.

• Experience in Monitoring, maintenance and support systems and software to ensure stability and compliance.

• Experience in SQL, Oracle and Mongo Database.

• Experience leading projects and mentoring onshore/offshore developers. Strong communication skills., Successful candidates must demonstrate appropriate knowledge, skills, and abilities for a role.
