Remote SAP Materials Management Functional Analyst

The analyst will support the transition of legacy SAP Materials Management processes to SAP S/4HANA by evaluating current-state workflows, participating in future-state design sessions, and documenting business requirements, process changes, impacts, and functional gaps. Responsibilities include conducting fit-gap analysis across MM functions, developing functional specifications for system enhancements and reporting, ensuring integration with related SAP modules, supporting data migration activities through mapping and validation efforts, and reviewing converted data to ensure accuracy and alignment with business requirements

Eligible for Public Trust Clearance

5+ years experience as an SAP Functional Analyst in Materials Management (MM).

Hands-on configuration experience in ECC MM (Purchasing, Goods Receipts, Materials, etc.).

Strong knowledge of end-to-end MM processes: Procure to Pay.

Experience participating in workshops, Fit-Gap sessions, and functional design activities.

Familiarity with SAP data migration concepts, especially for Master Data and Transactional Data.

Experience extending SAP standard functionality using ABAP Objects and other modern SAP technologies. Experience with G-Invoicing implementation and support.

Experience with SAP S/4HANA Asset Accounting and the Universal Journal (ACDOCA).

Familiarity with S/4 Fiori applications for Materials Management.

Experience in federal government or public sector SAP environments.

Experience participating in S/4 migration projects (greenfield, brownfield, SDT).

SAP Certification preferred

SAFe experience and/or certification
