Java Developer

Provides Java Programming skills and experience in support of the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) for FAA ATO IT software development projectsResponsible for development and maintenance of existing Java based web service applications using Spring and Hibernate frameworks, and Oracle database systemsWorks with both FAA government personnel and other vendors in a software development team based upon the Agile methodologyProvides well commented code and documentation describing the developed code and its function and interface requirementsResponds to test results to fix discrepancies/faults and re-test successfullyWorks on multiple projects as assigned in support of FAA ATO IT projects as determined by the customer site lead and by contract team leadership;Job Requirements :The successful candidate will have:Minimum of 3 years of relevant experienceBS in Computer Science or similar technical fieldMS Office **Experience in iterative RUP or Agile software developmentJava/J2EE programming experienceSpring and Hibernate Framework experienceSUN SolarisOracle 10g or higher database using PL/SQL and stored proceduresIDE: EclipseCM: CVSDesired: JIRA issues/bug tracking experienceWeb Services Programming Experience
