We offer you the opportunity to join the leading Spanish company in the IT sector, with more than 25 years of experience and one of the most solid track records as a provider of technological solutions for companies.We are a growing company with more than 400 employees and offices in Logroño, Madrid, Barcelona, Seville, Bilbao and Valencia.Since August **, we have been part of the IONOS Group, Europe’s leading digitalisation partner for small and medium-sized companies.In short, we are a multicultural team that’s passionate about technology, bringing our professional experience from over a dozen countries: Germany, Argentina, Spain, the United States, France, the Philippines, Italy, Poland, Portugal, the United Kingdom, Romania…Mission of the roleYou will be part of the team responsible for operatingone of the largest and most complex hosting platforms in Europe.Your mission will be to ensure thestability, performance, and evolution of the Stretch platform, working directly on critical production systems and contributing to the continuous improvement of a highly distributed infrastructure.This is a strongly technical role with hands-on impact at scale, where your work will directly influence service quality and platform evolution.You will collaborate closely with Hosting Technology teams and other web hosting teams within IONOS, with frequent interaction with international colleagues-particularly in Germany-to consolidate knowledge of existing systems.ResponsibilitiesOperation, maintenance, and evolution of large-scale Linux infrastructure.Advanced (Level 3) support for complex platform incidents.Automation of processes using scripting (BASH, Python) and infrastructure tools.Operation and management of distributed storage systems (Ceph).Monitoring and analysis of the platform using observability tools (Grafana and similar).Continuous improvement of system architecture and stability.Collaboration with international teams to absorb knowledge from legacy systems.Participation in on-call rotation.Professional profileMust have+3 years of experience in Linux system administration.Strong scripting skills inBASH and Python.Experience with configuration and automation tools:Puppet or SaltStackAnsible or TerraformHands-on experience operatingCeph storage clustersin production environments.Experience with monitoring and observability tools such asGrafana.Fluent English, required for international communication.Nice to haveKnowledge of SQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL).Solid understanding of networking fundamentals.Experience with container technologies (Docker/Kubernetes).Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines.Experience in highly distributed or high-availability environments.Soft skillsTechnical curiosity and continuous learning mindset.Ability to work in complex environments with incomplete documentation.Pragmatic approach to problem solving.Team player in international environments.Proactive attitude to independently build technical context.Participation in an on-call rotation (approx. 1 week every 6).BenefitsHybrid working model across any of the Arsys offices in Logroño, Alcobendas, Valencia, Barcelona, or Seville, with broad flexible working hours aligned with team coordination needs.Opportunity to work on one of the most advanced and large-scale hosting platforms in Europe.Direct exposure to highly complex distributed systems at significant scale.International technical environment with cross-country collaboration.Participation in critical projects with direct impact on service stability.Continuous training and professional development within a global technology organization.At Arsys we value diversity and welcome all applications regardless of, for example, gender, nationality, ethnic or social origin, religion, disability, age, as well as sexual orientation and identity, physical characteristics, marital status or any other irrelevant factor subject to applicable law.
Requirements
Must have +3 years of experience in Linux system administration. Strong scripting skills in BASH and Python . Experience with configuration and automation tools: Puppet or SaltStack Ansible or Terraform Hands-on experience operating Ceph storage clusters in production environments. Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Grafana . Fluent English , required for international communication. Nice to have Knowledge of SQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL).
