Senior Backend Developer Contract Role: Day Rate: €350-€380 per day 8-12 month contract You’ll join a large, distributed backend engineering community and work within cross-functional teams alongside product managers, frontend, and mobile engineers.You’ll play a key role in shaping core financial products, supporting a rapidly growing user base, and delivering high-quality solutions in a fast-paced environment.What You’ll Do Design, develop, deploy, and maintain backend services aligned with team and business goals Write clean, well-documented, production-grade code Contribute to service architecture, resilience, scalability, and robustness using Domain-Driven Design principles Participate in technical decision-making and mentor other engineers as you grow in technical leadership Business Tech Stack Backend: Go, Frontend: React.Js Mobile: Kotlin, Swift Infrastructure: Kubernetes on AWS Database: PostgreSQL Messaging & Observability: Kafka, ELK stack, and other modern tools Your Team You’ll join a large Product Engineering organization, structured into small cross-functional teams across multiple domains, including: Customer onboarding, account management, and compliance Payments and financial operations Platform systems, integrations, and monetization Cash flow management and bookkeeping tools Collaborative accounting and pre-accounting solutions Each team typically includes 6-8 backend engineers and owns its product scope end to end.About You Experience: Solid background building user-facing products and working with large-scale, high-traffic systems Problem solver: Pragmatic, product-minded, and focused on delivering customer value Impact-driven: Motivated by building products used by tens of thousands of users Quality-oriented: Strong advocate for testing, clean code, and constructive code reviews Curious: Eager to learn, improve, and explore new ideas Collaborative: Comfortable working closely with both technical and non-technical partners Language: Fluent in English Hiring Process Interviews with a Talent Acquisition partner and future team members A remote or onsite technical exercise to showcase your skills and experience what it’s like to work with the team Please apply or email me at
