Job description

Kaiser Permanente seeks an Epic Systems Analyst III to configure, enhance, and support Epic in a complex healthcare environment. In this role, you will collaborate with clinicians and operations leaders to design efficient EHR workflows, translate business requirements into Epic build, and ensure high system reliability and data integrity. You will lead testing and validation, manage upgrades and change control, and provide advanced troubleshooting and end-user support. This position offers the opportunity to drive continuous improvement in patient care delivery through thoughtful Epic optimization in a collaborative, learning-focused culture., * Configure and maintain Epic modules to support clinical and operational workflows.

  • Partner with clinicians and business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into Epic build.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, ensuring system stability and data integrity.
  • Perform system testing, validation, and change control for enhancements and upgrades.
  • Develop and maintain technical and end-user documentation.
  • Provide advanced end-user support and training for Epic functionality.
  • Collaborate with integration teams on interfaces, data flows, and downstream system impacts.
  • Monitor performance, identify optimization opportunities, and implement build improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with security, privacy, and regulatory requirements (e.g., HIPAA).
  • Participate in on-call rotations and incident response as needed.
