Vulnerability Analysis

Job description

  • Monitor, investigate, and respond to security incidents across enterprise environments.
  • Perform threat detection, threat hunting, and vulnerability analysis activities.
  • Correlate and analyze security events using SIEM, EDR, and cloud security platforms.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and develop recommendations for remediation and prevention.
  • Lead and support incident containment, eradication, recovery, and post incident review activities.
  • Identify threats and vulnerabilities and assist with enterprise risk reduction initiatives.
  • Support security operations through monitoring, alert triage, and escalation management.
  • Participate in security incident response processes and on call support activities as required.
  • Collaborate with infrastructure, cloud, and application teams to implement security controls and best practices.
  • Assist with compliance, audit, and governance activities related to cybersecurity frameworks and regulatory requirements.
  • Contribute to security policies, procedures, standards, and operational documentation.
  • Mentor junior team members and support knowledge sharing across the security organization.
  • Assist with cloud security, data protection, security automation, and security monitoring initiatives. Requirements

  • Minimum eight years of Information Technology experience.
  • Minimum five years of cybersecurity experience in incident response, security operations, or security engineering.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience leading and managing complex security incident investigations.
  • Strong knowledge of threat detection, vulnerability management, and security operations practices.
  • Experience working with cloud security technologies, particularly Microsoft Azure.
  • Experience supporting security governance, risk management, and compliance initiatives.
  • Working knowledge of HIPAA, PCI, NIST, or similar security and regulatory frameworks.
  • Experience developing, documenting, and implementing enterprise security controls.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing multiple priorities.
  • Professional security certifications such as CISSP, GCIH, GCIA, GIAC, Security+, Azure Security Engineer, or equivalent are preferred. Tools and Technologies:
