We offer you the opportunity to join the leading Spanish company in the IT sector, with more than 25 years of experience and one of the most solid track records as a provider of technological solutions for companies.We are a growing company with more than 400 employees and offices in Logroño, Madrid, Barcelona, Seville, Bilbao and Valencia.Since August **, we have been part of the IONOS Group, Europe’s leading digitalisation partner for small and medium-sized companies.In short, we are a multicultural team that’s passionate about technology, bringing our professional experience from over a dozen countries: Germany, Argentina, Spain, the United States, France, the Philippines, Italy, Poland, Portugal, the United Kingdom, Romania…We are looking for a Sr. Strecth Operations Manager to build a new team:Key responsibilitiesBuild Your Team: Lead the recruitment of 7 senior engineers to fill critical positions in Spain.Take Technical Command: Become the subject matter expert for Linux platforms, Ceph storage, and OpenStack.Mitigate Risks: Ensure that the Telekom migration and the stability of theStretchplatform are not compromised during the transition.Design the Future: Establish on-call policies, operational workflows, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) automation standards.What we’d like to seeWe are looking for a”Player-Coach”who commands the respect of engineers because you have been in the trenches yourself.Credible Leadership: 2+ years managing technical teams and the ability to attract top-tier talent within the Spanish market.Solid Technical Foundation: 5+ years of real-world experience in large-scale Linux systems administration.Cloud & Storage Expert: Essential hands-on experience with Ceph and OpenStack.Automation Master: Proficiency in Ansible, Puppet, or Terraform.Solution-Oriented Mindset: The ability to transform chaos into scalable, well-documented systems.ExpectationsBeing part of a multidisciplinary team passionate about technology, with an open and dynamic culture, where experimentation and discussion are encouraged to progress at work, always with respect and inclusion.We offer personalised career plans, annual performance evaluations and programmes to develop skills.We operate in Spanish and English and therefore provide unlimited language training.
