Data Engineering Analyst

Metyis is growing!We are looking for a Data Engineering Analyst with +1 year of experience to join our international Data and Analytics team, based in Barcelona.What we offer:Interact with senior stakeholders at our clients on regular basis to drive their business towards impactful changeBecome the go-to person for end-to-end data handling, management, and analytics processesWorking with Data Scientists to take data throughout its lifecycle - acquisition, exploration, data cleaning, integration, analysis, interpretation, and visualizationBecome part of a fast-growing international and diverse teamWhat you will do:Diagnose problems, disaggregate issues, develop hypotheses and execute relevant solutionsCollaborate and work closely with teams to better understand the end-user requirementsDevelop, and maintain data pipelines using Azure Data Factory and other technologies, ensuring efficient and cost-aware processesMonitor and troubleshoot data pipeline performance, identifying and resolving issues promptlyWork with Azure Data Lake Storage to manage and store large datasets, ensuring data is easily accessible and well-organizedImplement data quality and data governance best practices to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and security of dataWork closely with data scientists to understand their data requirements and provide the necessary support for their analytics and machine learning tasksStay updated with the latest trends and advancements in data engineering, cloud technologies, and big data toolsCreate and maintain documentation related to data pipelines, data storage, and data processing workflowsWhat you’ll bring:Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related fieldMinimum of 1-2 years of experience in a data engineering roleProficiency in SQL and PythonExperience with Databricks or other pay-as-you-go DWH technologiesFamiliarity with big data technologies and distributed processing toolsUnderstanding of data integration and ELT processesGood problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environmentExcellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish#J-*****-Ljbffr
