Senior Infrastructure Engineer - VMware & Hybrid Platforms - Madrid OnsiteWe’re hiring for a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join an enterprise-scale environment spanning virtualization, storage, containers, and hybrid infrastructure.You’ll act as a single point of contact for site/infra operations, leading VMware platform management (vSphere, ESXi, vCenter) while providing L2-level support across NetApp storage, OpenShift, Linux (RHEL/CentOS), Windows Server, and core networking.What you’ll be doing:Owning VMware operations end-to-end provisioning, performance tuning, patching, troubleshootingDriving RCA and permanent fixes on P1/P2 incidents across infrastructure layersSupporting NetApp volumes, snapshots and performance checksMonitoring OpenShift cluster health, pods, and deploymentsAutomating repetitive work with PowerCLI, Shell, and AnsibleRunning DR activities, failover testing, and backup validationWhat we’re looking for:***** years’ experience with expert-level VMware (HA, DRS, vMotion, datastore management)Solid L2 exposure to NetApp, OpenShift/containers, Linux, and Windows ServerWorking knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, routing, firewalls)Automation experience (PowerCLI, Ansible, Python) is a strong plusExposure to cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP) and monitoring tools (Grafana, Dynatrace, Prometheus) is a bonusITIL familiarity and relevant certifications are advantageousIf you thrive in high-availability environments and enjoy working across the full infrastructure stack rather than staying siloed in one technology, this is a strong next step.Interested?
