IT Support Specialist

We are seeking a diligent and proactive IT Support Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will work closely with the IT Director in executing the transition of our POS system and advancing our ERP implementation. This role requires active involvement in the initial stages of implementation and ongoing maintenance, ensuring seamless operation of our systems.

Responsibilities and Duties:

1. Implementation & Migration Support

a. Assist the IT Director in driving the end-to-end POS system switch and ERP implementation, including data migration, system configuration, and UAT.

b. Participate in workflow mapping and requirement gathering to ensure business needs are accurately translated into system configurations.

1. Cross-Functional Coordination & Training

a. Act as the primary liaison among IT, Finance, Marketing, and Store Operations teams to track project milestones, escalate issues, and ensure timely deliverables.

b. Document SOPs and training materials for end-users during the rollout phase.

1. System Maintenance & Optimization

a. Provide day-to-day support for POS and ERP platforms post-launch, troubleshooting technical issues, managing vendor tickets, and monitoring system performance.

b. Perform routine system audits, updates, and data integrity checks to ensure compliance with internal controls and payment security standards.

1. Process Documentation

a. Maintain comprehensive documentation of system architectures, integration points, and troubleshooting guides to build organizational knowledge and facilitate future upgrades.

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.

• 3 years + of experience in IT support, business analysis, or systems implementation within retail or similar fast-paced environments.

• Experience with POS systems (e.g., Shopify POS, Heartland POS) a must.

• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics) a plus.

• Availability: Must be available to work core business hours 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM ET, Monday-Friday, for meetings, system implementations, and urgent troubleshooting.

• Strong project coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams and meet deadlines.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and basic SQL or data analysis tools a plus.
