Job description
Strategy & Vision
- Define and communicate the product vision and multi-year roadmap the technical integration approach and developer portal in support of the business vision for embedded banking and client integrations
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and positioning
- Develop use cases and go-to-market strategies for new banking features leveraging APIs and new integration channels
- Partner with the Treasury Product team for Payments and Integrations and coordinate across the enterprise for other integration solutions/needs
Product Development & Execution
- Translate business goals and customer needs into clear product requirements and user stories
- Partner with Engineering, Design, and Security teams to deliver high-quality features on schedule
- Ensure technical design aligns with product roadmap and industry standards
- Manage the product backlog, prioritize features, and make data-driven trade-off decisions
Developer Portal Experience
- Design and evolve the developer portal to improve onboarding, documentation, and API usability
- Conduct user research and usability testing with developers and integration partners
- Define success metrics for developer adoption, time-to-value, and API utilization
- Provide technical subject matter expertise supporting the Product Integration Sales Consultant in complex deals requiring embedded banking and understand client requirements and consult to most appropriate model / solution
Stakeholder Management
- Serve as the primary voice of the internal customer-understanding needs from banks, fintechs, and developers
- Collaborate with Product, Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing to align messaging and support customer adoption
- Engage with Financial Services and Compliance teams to ensure regulatory requirements are met
- Present product roadmap and strategy to executives, investors, and key stakeholders
Metrics & Analytics

Define KPIs and success metrics (adoption, engagement, time-to-integration, API calls, revenue impact)
- Monitor product health through dashboards, analyze user behavior, and identify improvement areas
- Conduct post-launch reviews and A/B testing to optimize product performance

Requirements
- 5+ years of product management experience, with at least 2 years managing developer-facing products or APIs
- 3+ years of experience in financial services, fintech, banking, or embedded finance
- Location - Texas Capital Bank offices, downtown Dallas
- Strong understanding of REST/GraphQL APIs, integration architecture, and developer workflows
- Experience managing complex products with multiple stakeholder groups (technical and non-technical)
- Demonstrated ability to build and ship products end-to-end from conception to launch
- Excellent communication skills-ability to explain technical concepts to business audiences and vice versa
- Data-driven mindset with proficiency in analytics tools and SQL
- Experience with compliance and security requirements in financial services (PSD2, Open Banking, PCI DSS, or similar)
Additional Requirements
- Experience with embedded finance, open banking, or API-first financial platforms
- Background in payments, lending, or other banking verticals
- Experience leading cross-functional teams including engineers, designers, and security professionals
- Knowledge of developer onboarding, SDKs, and developer tools
- Familiarity with agile/scrum methodologies and product management tools (Jira, Confluence, etc.)
