Job description
- Build and maintain features across the company’s platform, working comfortably across both React on the frontend and Django on the backend.
- Help design and implement AI-powered functionality within the product, working with real data from energy systems.
- Write clean, well-tested, maintainable code, and take ownership of features from idea through to production.
- Collaborate closely with product, data, and other engineers to shape how new features are built and delivered.
- Contribute to technical decisions around architecture, performance, and code quality as the product scales.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with TypeScript, ideally in a React-based frontend context.
- Solid experience with Python, ideally with Django or a comparable framework.
- Genuine, practical experience working with AI/ML - this could mean building AI-powered features, integrating models into a product, or working hands-on with modern AI tooling.
- Comfortable working full-stack, with an interest in both the user-facing and backend sides of a product.
- A pragmatic, ownership-driven approach to engineering - someone who cares about shipping good software, not just writing code.
- A genuine interest in renewable energy and the role technology can play in the transition to a more sustainable energy system.
Benefits & conditions
- A modern, focused tech stack (React/Django) with real scope to work on meaningful AI features.
- A Leuven-based team with room to grow technically as the product and company scale.
- Up to €7.000 dependent on interview process.
- Full package including mobility budget/car.
- Flexible hybrid and remote working options.
